This guy's voice and intensity are amazing. His tone and range remind me of Perry Farrell. I've been listening to a lot of his stuff lately and think people should check out some of his tunes.
My good friend Mark, born and raised in Braintree but now residing in Hawaii, has added 4 new songs to his MySpace page. We played together for years and every time I hear his new music, it brings me back to fond memories of always being on his right side on a floor, stage, deck, etc; Check it out, his words are truly beautiful.
The making of a great compilation tape, like breaking up, is hard to do and takes ages longer than it might seem. You gotta kick off with a killer, to grab attention. Then you got to take it up a notch, but you don't wanna blow your wad, so then you got to cool it off a notch. There are a lot of rules. Anyway... I've started to make a tape... in my head... for her. Full of stuff she likes. Full of stuff that make her happy. For the first time I can sort of see how that is done.
Good music is good music; despite genre or affiliation. If a song speaks out to you, then it's worth turning others on to it. Rock, Hip-Hop, Folk, Punk, Metal, Ambient, whatever. 'All Music Makes The World Turn...' So stop worrying and simply enjoy.
