Mix #116: "T.G.I.F."

- The 90's place a special feeling in my heart; youth was still in full effect (at least for me). The music was amazing; full of bands I still cherish to this day. Every artist on this list was not only great in their heyday, but are still great to this day.
- I've toyed around with the idea of making a part two of the 90's mix. Any feedback and suggestions as always is more than welcome.
- Be good to teach other.

Mix #114: "The Snozberries Taste Like Snozberries"

- Another new group from a member of the Boston band Lux: Soccermom. If you like bands like Jawbreaker and Braid, you'll love them.
- The Explorers Club new album is amazing; making retro rock worth listening to.
- I loved The Format; I loved Nate Ruess' voice on Straylight Run's 'It's For The Best.' I now love fun.
- Full orginal-ly line-up of Hot Rod Circuit back together? Fuck yeah!
- Thanks to Ross from Enjoy The Ride Records for the suggestion on the band Harvard; reminds me a lot of Circa Survive, which is a good thing.
- Enjoy the mix and be good to each other.

Mix #113: "It's Good To Be Back"

- Wow. It's been way too long since I've done this. Missed it so much. A lot of good music has been released and discovered since the last time I made one, so I have a ton of a new material to share with the masses.
- My old band (shoreline drive.) was lucky enough to share the stage with Will Brierly and Rollerhosters a few times. Amazing band.
- Remember the awesome days of playing original Nintendo? Relive the music with The Advantage; a band who covers all old-school video game soundtracks.
- I have to give props to Boston bands through out this blog; big ups to Transit for creating a fantastic pop-punk album in 2011 and Lux, an inspirtation to want to create music at a young age. The link is for his new group, Worry The Worm.
- My infatuation with Bon Iver continues. Great performance with The (Legendary) Roots also featured on this mix.
