Mix #41: "Eddie Shore...Old Time Hockey"

- I never really cared for Something Corporate...but then Jack's Mannequin came out which is Andrew McMahon's (lead singer) side project. I enjoyed it so much that I went back to listen to SoCo. It's light, catchy music.
- If you don't own the new Foo Fighters' album, 'Waisting Light,' go get it now.
- I heard about Kings Of Convenience a few years ago and liked it a lot. I've been listening to them and enjoying them a lot lately. They definitely have Simon and Garfunkel feel to them. If you like laid back acoustic jams with delicate harmonies, you will very much enjoy them.
- Bruins vs. Flyers? Revenge is in the works.

Mix #40: "Tattoo Of Petunia"

- The Royal Sloane was the first band I was in. We recorded our album in the summer of '99 which made us around 15 years old. I listen back now and I think we were pretty good given our age. Very fond memories of playing these songs, especially 'Where Are You Now?'
- The Pernikoff Brothers and Dan Germain's website should be going live any day now. Keep checking back. I love this song ('I See You') It has a great guitar solo and the drums are tight.

Two For Friday: Mix #37: "Five Against One," and Mix #38: "These Aren't The Droids You're Looking For"

I received some help from two of my buddies (thanks Kenny and Bonzo) on this mix. I think it was difficult to narrow this mix down to only 5-7 songs apiece, but it was fun and I can easily see this as part one of many to come.
