Like Listening To Music Playing From Another Room...

Music has incredible way of making a good movie scene great. I've always felt that music supervisors on films are under rated and don't get enough credit. To find a song that fits perfectly with what a director is trying to show is a gift. It can easily make or break someone's idea of a great scene. Sometimes the song by itself is awful, but with the right script behind it, it becomes so much better. The following are songs placed in films that have made you laugh, cry, or even given you goosebumps that you can't explain. Although musical performances within a film are a huge part of it, they will not be included in this list.

'Kiss Me Deadly' by Generation X in the film SLC Punk
'Hit or Miss' by A New Found Glory in the film American Pie 2
'In Your Eyes' by Peter Gabriel in the film Say Anything
'Ooh Child' by The Five Stairsteps in the film Boyz In Da Hood
'Dreaming Of You' by Selena in the film Selena
'The End' by The Doors in the film Platoon
